Jason F. Rigoli Prior to joining Monument Capital Group, Jason was a Principal with The White Oak Group, a private equity fund focused on the middle-market of the global homeland security and defense space. Mr. Rigoli was responsible for establishing the firm’s Washington DC area operations including sourcing new investments and overseeing portfolio companies. Mr. Rigoli has a track record of over $1.2B in transaction value across 20 deals. Transactions generated by Mr. Rigoli have resulted in an internal rate of return (IRR) of greater than 50%. Prior to The White Oak Group, Mr. Rigoli was a Senior Vice President in the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Practice at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, Capital Markets (FBR) where he led M&A and capital raising efforts in the aerospace, defense, and government services industries. During his tenure at FBR, the firm won numerous client mandates including144a equity offerings, traditional IPOs, M&A, and debt financings. FBR quickly established itself on industry league tables as a leading investment bank for middle market transactions supporting aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. Prior to FBR, Mr. Rigoli spent more than a decade in senior operations and corporate development roles for large government contractors, including more than seven years with Pearson Government Solutions. During his tenure with Pearson he built and ran multiple business units focused on providing technical support services to the Defense and National Intelligence communities. Business growth was a result of Mr. Rigoli’s focus on strategic M&A and targeted business development. After growing from approximately $110mm to over $500mm in revenue, Pearson Government Solutions was ultimately sold to a private equity fund for over $660mm. Mr. Rigoli earned an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Columbia Business School, and an additional MBA with an emphasis in global business operations from London Business School. Mr. Rigoli also serves as the President of the National Capital Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). The chapter is comprised of over 400 senior executives from businesses across the Mid-Atlantic region. ACG’s primary focus is to provide business owner-members with access to capital and expertise to help them sell or grow their companies. Greater than 75% of the M&A and capital raising transactions in the Washington region are executed through ACG members. Additionally, Mr. Rigoli serves on the Board of Directors for two defense contractors. |
